Who wants to be an Instructor?

You may or may not have noticed lately that there are many other martial arts schools in the seacoast area who have closed lately. I can name 3 who have closed in the past year, and 2 others who are in serious danger.
I bring this up for 2 reasons:

First, while others have refused to change and grow, haven't updated their business skills, haven't improved their curriculum, and haven't properly trained instructors...we have and we continue to grow while the dinosaurs are dying. You can rest assured that we are solid. We have been in the area for the past 23 years and have every intention to be here for 23 more. This is because we are a business, not a club, and there is a big distinction between the two. Survival of the fittest.

Second, we are growing and plan to add locations this year. Where others have closed, this has opened up some new territory for our academies and we are poised to take advantage of the vacancy and the need for quality martial arts training. We currently have space open in our instructor training program (ITP) and we are looking to train instructors, program directors, and future chief instructors. You are never too young or too old to begin training for an exciting and rewarding career in martial arts. As an example, Mr. Dobson is only 10 and will have a great job waiting as soon as he reaches his teens. Mr. Paltrineri is over 60 and doing terrific teaching and learning new tricks.

You have probably seen the email that went out last week about our job openings for part-time marketing and sales positions. We will very soon have job openings for instructors and program directors to open at least 2 more locations this year and early next year. These positions will be available to students in our instructor training program who are ready to take on the challenge. That could be you. Talk to your instructor soon about how to begin in our ITP.
