“Nobody Picks On Me!”

NH just passed a new law making bullying and cyber-bullying a serious crime NH.   Schools are responsible for creating action plans to deal with bullies, and teachers are now ‘mandatory reporters’ making it illegal to not report bullying.  For more information, please read this article by the DOE: http://www.education.nh.gov/standards/documents/bullying-cyberbulling.pdf

Bullying is hot in the news right now and many articles like the following are coming out weekly:

There is no doubt that bullying is scary and should be dealt with harshly.  Everyone wants to talk about punishing bullies, but it seems that so many are missing the other half of the story – how do we teach children not to become victims?

That’s what we have been doing for 25 years!  We teach children to have the confidence, the discipline, and yes…the skills, not to become victims.  We teach children to become leaders, not followers, and to hold their heads up high so that they don’t become bully magnets.  I know from personal experience that martial arts training ends bullying.  I was bullied throughout grade school and it stopped the minute I started training in martial arts.   -  Master Randall

Give us a call today and your child will be able to say, “Nobody picks on me.”
