This past Thursday evening I had the honor of being invited to a belt graduation at Master West’s Kwan Ki Do Martial Arts Academy in Maine. 
16 students were promoted to various beginner ranks. The students were very well disciplined, polite and respectful…exactly the way you picture future black belts should be.
I can tell that Master West cares deeply about his students and the quality of their training.
I am doubly honored that Master West has asked me to be his instructor for the next leg of his training towards his 5th Degree Black Belt. He and I have similar training backgrounds and I look forward to working closely with him to help him prepare for this big step.
Some of Master West’s students are planning to join us for the Friendship Tournament we are hosting on 9/25. It will be very exciting to greet them at our academy for the first time and I know that I can count on all of our students to welcome them with your best martial arts etiquette.
